WHAT IS A MIXED PLAN?
The Mixed Plan guarantees the freedom that the beneficiary deserves. All Odonto System plans contain a part of the procedures covered on a pre-payment and a post-payment basis.
The Mixed contracting regime (pre- and post-payment in the same plan) is regulated by the ANS through RN59, which says that the operator needs to guarantee the minimum coverage in pre-payment (Consultation, Prevention and Emergency) so that the beneficiary can maintain oral health today.
How does the pre and post payment of the dental plan work?
Pre -payment: The beneficiary may perform the covered procedures in pre -payment, according to clinical indication, without having to pay anything but the monthly fee.
Post Payment: If the beneficiary needs to perform more specific procedures, if there is a clinical need, he will pay a different value of the post payment procedure in his coverage.
